Fisheries and Wildlife Scholarships
In addition to scholarships available to the general student body, the following scholarships are earmarked for students in Tech's Fisheries and Wildlife Biology Program. Arkansas Tech Endowed Scholarships are applied for through the Office of Financial Aid. Other scholarships are advertised they become available within the program. Not all scholarships are available every year.
Scholarship Organization Amount/Obligations
A.B.A. Scholarship - junior or senior fisheries and wildlife student with an interest in fisheries management
C.F.A. Scholarship - freshman through senior fisheries and wildlife students with an interest in aquaculture
Jim Ed McGee Scholarship - junior or senior fisheries and wildlife student with an interest in quail and small game management
Yell County Wildlife Scholarship - sophomore to senior level fisheries and wildlife students interested in wildlife or fisheries conservation
Reeves Ritchie Scholarship - senior fisheries and wildlife or parks and recreation students that can demonstrate scholarship and financial need
Markey Butterworth - out-of-state fisheries and wildlife students that can demonstrate scholarship and financial need
Opal James Memorial Scholarship - fisheries and wildlife or parks and recreation students that can demonstrate scholarship and financial need
Conservation Scholarship Program - high school seniors or full-time college undergraduates with GPA of at least 2.5, Arkansas residents only

$4,000 to $5,000/split between three or four students - should be present at the Governor's Cup Tournament to help with weigh-in
$1500/year split between one/two students - should be present at January meeting give presentation or report on work experience
$1,500/year given to one student - must be present at annual banquet in February to accept award - preference for residence in or adjacent to Pope County
$400/year - must be present at annual fall banquet to accept award
