Tips for Water Conservation

Look at some interesting water pictures on our Water Web Gallery!
  • Do not leave the water running while brushing your teeth and washing your face!

  • Don't waste cold water while waiting for the hot (catch it for watering plants).

  • Make showers as quick as possible!

  • Don't use your toilet as a trash can, extra flushes means more water use.

  • Don't put the shower water pressure on full it uses more water.

  • Only use appropriate settings for the washing machine and run your dishwasher only when it is full.

  • Fix leaks (Leaky toilets use excess amounts of water).
