What is being done?
• Laws have been made to protect these threatened and endangered animals and are enforced to the best extent possible.
• The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission has set up wildlife management areas around the state to ensure a safe habitat for the animals living there.
• The AGFC also participates in the Acres for Wildlife program which encourages the conservation and improvement of existing wildlife habitats and awards participants who have performed an outstanding service through the program.
